Manresa
Jesuit Retreat House is a place of quiet, peace and
prayer that seeks to help people grow in their spiritual
life by conference or group retreats
and individually directed
retreats based on the Spiritual
Exercises of St. Ignatius Loyola. We offer workshops,
spiritual direction,
days of prayer,
and a two-year Internship
Program in Ignatian Spirituality. Our retreat center
and its conference facilities are also used by other
religious and educational groups. And from time to time
our staff lead pilgrimages
or tours overseas.
Though
just sixteen miles north of the center of Detroit, our thirty-seven
wooded acres are a place of peace, and the main branch of
the young Rouge River runs through it. Come to the quiet
of this special place and find rest for your souls.
