SLOVAKIA, 1997, postal stationary, envelope, featuring four Slovenian missionaries
including Jesuit Father Eduard Hancko

Fr. Hancko was born September 17, 1920 in Slovakia, in the small village Likavka under the Choèské Mountains at the site of the ruins of castle Likavka, only half a kilometer from Ruzomberok. He died on April 30, 1995 in Presov in eastern Slovakia. Hancko joined the Jesuits and spent 44 years in missionary work.
